Konsert: David Cariano Timme
Minimal Effort is a concert format in which percussionist David Cariano Timme aims to blend electronics and percussion together in a selection of works from the past 30 years. Some of these works are the result of commissions from the last couple of years and are part of Davids incessant pursue of new voices in percussion music.
These works draw from and intersect with other current and traditional forms of musical expression outside the realm of contemporary classical music. The title “minimal effort“ was chosen to represent the performers ambition to incorporate music from a broad background into one concert format and give the audience an insight into what this art form has to say in a greater culture.
